Hyderabad: Aurobindo Pharma Sets Up Oxygen Plant At Gandhi Hospital

Aurobindo Pharma Foundation, as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), has set up an oxygen generation plant at Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad. The Aurobindo pharma team led by Suresh Raman handed over the plant costing Rs 1 crore with 0.5 tonnes per day capacity to the hospital authorities.

Suresh Raman said, "This plant will increase the oxygen supply in order to meet the growing requirement of the Covid patients."

Aurobindo has spent around Rs 1 crore on machinery, equipment and converting the nitrogen plant into an oxygen generating plant, he added.

The organisation has taken many initiatives to support government hospitals in this pandemic situation to meet the medical oxygen demand through various measures, said Aurobindo Pharma Foundation head S Sadananda Reddy
